_ICS is accredited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to certify organic products in Canada, under the Organic Products Regulations, 2009.
In 2009 the CFIA signed an equivalency agreement with the USDA regarding acceptance of the National Organic Program as equivalent to the Canadian Organic Regime.
The equivalency agreement means that certified organic products in the United States can be sold as organic in Canada, and vice-versa.
